Consumer health data privacy policy

LocuPedia is a healthcare workforce platform — credentialing and coverage, not care. This policy explains what consumer health data means here (very little), what we never collect, and the extra rights US state laws give you. Last updated: August 2026.

No patient data, period

LocuPedia connects healthcare organizations with healthcare professionals. It is not used to deliver care, and it is not a channel for patient information. Our usage policy prohibits uploading patient data in any form, and postings are structured around staffing requirements — role, dates, skills — so patient data never belongs here.

What we do collect

Account and profile details, credential documents you upload for verification, posting and application activity, billing records for organizations, and basic technical logs. None of this is patient data. A clinician’s own professional documents — licences, certifications, insurance — are not consumer health data, but we handle them with the same discipline: never sold, never used for advertising, visible only to verification review.

Your rights under US state laws

Some US states (for example Washington’s My Health My Data Act and similar laws in Nevada and Connecticut) give consumers specific rights over “consumer health data”. Because LocuPedia does not collect consumer health data as those laws define it, there is typically nothing for these rights to act on — but we honour them anyway:

Confirm and access — ask us what we hold about you. Delete — delete your account and data as described in privacy choices. No sale — we do not sell consumer health data (or any personal information). No profiling — we do not profile you based on health information.

To exercise any right, write to us through contact. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legal right.

If you ever see health data here

If any user ever places patient or consumer health data on the platform in breach of our policies, tell us immediately through security contact — we will remove it and act on the account responsible.
